Students in grades 2 through
7 are eligible for enrollment in our Academic/Residential
Program and, if they graduate from our 8th grade, have an
option to stay through high school. A Day Program is also
offered at both campuses. The Rathje Campus will begin accepting
day students this fall. Priority is given to children from
lower-income single-parent families facing challenging life
circumstances.
To begin the enrollment process, please follow these
steps:
1. Parent/s call a Glenwood admissions counselor.
For enrollment on Glenwood’s South
Campus in Glenwood, call
Carol Schueler, Admissions Counselor, at
708-756-6116,
SouthCampusAdmissions@GlenwoodSchool.org.
For enrollment on
Glenwood’s Rathje Campus in St. Charles,
call Ellyn Sempsrott,
Admissions Counselor, at 847-464-8200,
RathjeCampusAdmissions@GlenwoodSchool.org.
2. The admissions counselor will conduct a brief phone
interview,
and then, if appropriate, will send out
information about the
school along with application forms.
3. Parent/s complete and return the forms to Glenwood.
4. If the student is approved as a candidate for enrollment,
Glenwood staff will schedule a tour
and personal interview with the
child and family on campus.
5. When space is available, a date will be determined for
the student
to begin school. Some applicants may be
placed on a waiting list
until space is available.
